Dissonance and indigestion can be uncomfortable indicators that we have veered too far from our truth. In such times, both the head and the gut dance in an unhelpful exchange; body and mind beckon the spirit of deeper knowing and in doing so the Yoga practitioner is gifted with a direct experience of settling what pains.
During this session we will explore a very special Yogic teaching for flipping perceptions, as an opening gesture to invite serene stirrings into the space. Let go of self-doubt and stress in favour of being held in a self-made safe and nurturing space.
Enjoy a selection of Yin practices, given specifically to evoke serene inner knowings and settle any physical bloat or mental worry. Awaken the digestive and acceptance meridians of the body, namely the pathways of Stomach and Spleen.
Each Yin pose will be offered as a mini meditation and personal retreat, a tender time of re-sensing serenity and settling into greater feelings of ease.
This is a 2 hour immersion into cozy stillness. Classic Yin postures will be given, to marinate within for extended stays. Options will be presented for using blocks, blankets and bolsters to support you in the most comfortable ways.
